Herman is a very smart Mouse who lives in a little red barn on the hill with Mama Mouse, Papa Mouse and all his farm animal friends. When one morning his Papa finds a delicious treat, Herman can't resist trying to get it. However, getting this treat will be very dangerous. It is in a giant mousetrap! Then there's Lloyd the barn cat, the old barn cat with one ear. A cat everyone avoids. Will Herman be able to figure out how to get his family this delicious treat before becoming a treat himself for Lloyd? In this heartwarming adventure, told in a fun to read rhyme, you will learn along with Herman that just because you may be different, anyone can be a friend. Don't forget to find Herman's friend, the fuzzy brown spider, hidden on every page!

Congratulations on your 5-star review!
Herman the Mouse by Tammy Brown is an adorable story that teaches young readers kindness, acceptance, and friendship. It helps them understand how anyone can become friends even though they are different. The author's illustrations capture the mood of the story and the characters vividly and give the book a good pace and movement. It is quite interesting to note the brown little spider on every page of the story. The characters - Herman, his parents, and Lloyd - are charming and memorable. It is a good story for tutors and parents to teach children to accept others - despite being different from each other - in a good way using Herman the mouse and Lloyd the tomcat.
